This Saturday at 6:30pm eastern it will be time for the second BSG singing competition, and we’ve gone bigger and better! Below you’ll find the special performances for this stream, the list of participants and what songs they are singing, along with all other important stream info. Whether you entered, or just want to enjoy a pina colada with me and Hannibal while listening to some beautiful and beautifully horrible music; we hope to see you there.
The Quick Notes In Summary
The stream is on the 4th of June at 6:30pm eastern, and will be dual streamed on twitch and BSG.
In the good category there is a $100 grand prize along with a $30 second place prize, and a $20 third place prize.
In the bad category we have a grand prize of $90, with a second place prize of $30. This could have maxed out at 100/30/20, but we didn’t get 10 entries. We were so close, but maybe next time everyone who thought about it will actually enter to bump the prize pool up.

Random.org was used to randomize the order of participants, and that is the order we’ll be playing them in. That is also the order of the m3u and Spotify playlists below. This way you’ll know roughly when you’ll be up since this stream is looking like it will last about three and a half hours.
This competition isn’t about sounding most like the original,and we won’t be judging anyone based on quality of their recording. The most important thing is to hit us in our feels, to tickle our sensitives. the song doesn’t have to be emotional, just that we have to feel the song when you sing it. This applies both for the good and bad covers…
We will also be encouraging the folks in chat to share their opinions, and may lean on them to break me and Hannibal apart if we get in a fight to the death over the winner.

Special Performances Outside Of The Competition
There will be two very special songs in addition to all the wonderful cover songs people have submitted. We are going to stick with the theme from last year, and do what we asked others to do as well. This means me and Hannibal are getting in our rhinestone Sequins tights and belting out for the goddess.
The first special song will be another cover from myself and Hannibal. We are sticking with Shakira, and this time we are doing a duet of Hips Don’t Lie. It is going to be so amazingly horrible, and glorious, and a true work of abstract art.
The second special treat will be another duet featuring Hannibal, but thankfully not me. The amazingly talented Sarah Joyce Ocampo will be singing a cover of A Whole New World with Hannibal. This song has been talked about since the last singing competition, and it has finally come time for it to be recorded and released for everyone to enjoy. This song is the most literal definition of juxtaposition anyone could ever find, and I’m sure everyone is going to love it.
Special Secret Prize
Those who follow BSG know we’ve been helping to push out the new channel of SarahJoyceMusic. This is not only because she does great covers, but I’ve also been mixing and mastering her music. For whoever wins the grand prize in the good category, Sarah is willing to work with them to make an acoustic instrumental, and I’ll mix and master it for them. This is an optional prize, and one I’ll reach out to you about if you are the winner. The process will take some time, so we’ll work out the details after the stream has ended and you have time to figure out what song you’d like.
Content Warning?
We are normally a comedy gaming stream, but for this we are replacing the gaming part with music. We are quite R rated simply because this is how we are as humans, and we don’t change on stream. We tell jokes, we have some drinks, and most of all we are about having a good time. If you don’t normally listen to our streams, just let the regulars in chat ease you into our craziness. The whole point is to have some fun, so grab a drink, stop by and come along for the ride.
