I’ve been talking about doing live stream giveaways for a while now. After talking with Hannibal we have figured out a pretty decent plan for structuring the giveaways. This post will be archived as a page anyone can access from the main nav bar at any time. These giveaways will be recurring every month until otherwise posted.
How it will work:
This is a summary, read the entire post for all the details on how to enter and win.
There will be a maximum of 2 giveaways a month.
There will be two types of giveaways. A click to tweet giveaway, and a competition giveaway.
The click to tweet giveaway: To enter into this giveaway people will simply have to use the click to tweet link on the bsg live stream player page and share the given tweet. Doing this will enter them into the drawing which will take place at the end of the stream. The winner will have 24 hours to DM @bsg_blog on Twitter to claim their prize.
The competition giveaway: During the stream the winner of each mini-game party, (or winner of another game( will be entered into a drawing. At the end of the stream one of the winners will be randomly chosen as the prize winner. The winner will have 24 hours to Dm @bsg_blog on Twitter to claim their prize.
These aren’t going to be big giveaways, but they are going to happen consistently, and hopefully twice every month. This is just a way to say thanks to those who listen to the streams and play along with us.
Patreons who are signed up to a high enough tier will have an automatic extra entry in the click to tweet giveaway, but not with the competition as that is a competition and not a straight random draw giveaway. If a patreon member who is signed up to a high enough tier wins a mini-game round or other streamed game, they will have one extra entry put into the drawing of winners.
If you don’t have twitter then you can DM @jd_811 all your complaints.
The click to tweet details and rules
1. There will be a click to tweet link on the BSG live stream players located at blackscreengaming.com/live and blackscreengaming.com/live2.
2. Using that link and tweeting out the pre filled in tweet while we are live will enter you into the drawing for that day’s stream. Tweeting before we go live will not count towards the giveaway.
3. Each person can only enter 1 time.
4. The winner will be drawn using random.org.
5. The winner will have 24 hours from the end of the live stream to send a direct message to @bsg_blog on twitter claiming their prize.
6. Retweets and quoted tweets will not be counted in the drawing. Only direct tweets.
7. The normal prizes will be in the range of $5 USD. This could include STW credits, ROTK ingots, amazon gift cards, or something else that allows for free $5 gift cards or credit. Things like Itunes and google play will not be available due to the difficulty of buying for different countries and their limitations on the size of gift cards. I will work with the winners as best as I can if they would like something not listed here.
8. If the prize is something other than what is listed in rule 8 it will be announced during the live stream.
9. If anyone is suspected of entering multiple times they will be Disqualified from the giveaway. Doing it multiple times will result in a permanent BSG giveaway ban.
10. Patreons who are signed up to the Super supporter tier or higher will get 1 extra entry into this drawing. They will not have to contact me if they win, I will reach out to them. They can win even if they are not listening to the stream. If they are listening and also use the click to tweet they will have 2 entries in the drawing.
11. These rules may change or be updated in the future. The last rule update occurred on July 10, 2019 at 6:30pm EST.
The competition rules and details
1. This competition will be based on someone winning a game, or mini-game party.
2. If one of the streamers wins a game or game-party then there will be no winner for that game or game-party. Second or third place will not be counted.
3. On games like Crazy Party to participate and to be eligible to win you will need to change your game name to your twitter username. This way the winners can be easily verified.
4. If the game being played is not Crazy Party then some other way of verifying the winner will be thought up, but at this point on July 10, 2019 this process has not been implemented.
5. During the live stream we will play 2, 3, or more games. The winners from each individual game will have their names added to the drawing pool for that live stream. At the end of the stream random.org will be used to pick one person as the winner.
6. The winner will have 24 hours from the end of the live stream to DM @bsg_blog on twitter or to email smoke-j@blackscreengaming.com and claim their prize.

9. If anyone participating in the games is suspected of cheating in anyway they will be banned from all BSG live stream competition giveaways. All decisions are final.
10. Patreons who are signed up to the Super Supporter tier or higher can have a max of 1 additional entry into the drawing, but only if they first win one of the games, or game-parties.
11. These rules may change or be updated in the future. The last rule update occurred on July 10, 2019 at 6:30pm EST.
There will be a live stream this saturday the 13th at 4:30pm EST which will have a click to tweet giveaway.
