giveaways, new releases, and some classics
This month we have a full schedule from the first to the 29th. Every genre is covered with golf, Alter Aeon, Hades, CP, and The Vale, with a patreon game night and a book club tossed in for fun. No matter what your preferred game genre is, you’ll find something you like this month whether is audio or mainstream. All streams will be at 4:30pm eastern, it makes it easier on both myself, and the Hannibal.
Recent Site Updates
Last month I said I wanted to work on Hades more to get that section completed, but I shit the bed there. That will be a priority this month. I have been burning out on working on editing and mixing for the MK section, and I could really use a change of game. I need to make some audio guides on how to get through certain parts of Hades. Originally I was going to make video guides, but after thinking about it I believe it would be overly redundant to have video guides. It would also be easier to pop up some audio, so that will be what I’m going to work on this month. If all goes okay Hades should be completed this month…assuming the mods aren’t completely redone yet again.
My secondary goal is to maybe work on smb3 and MK when I need a break from Hades, but that isn’t a priority. More people are picking up Hades for the first time, and I feel they need some decent guides out there. I haven’t been playing much SMB3 lately, so I have let that fall to the bottom of the to do list, but it’s still there. With MK I’ve been going at it for too long,and it is getting difficult to keep up with the same thing day after day.
The best news is the release of the “words are hard” shirt will be coming out this month. Both myself and Hannibal have ordered test versions of the shirt, and if the printing looks good expect links to be pushed out for everyone to buy their own. A description of the design will come later with the proper shirt release.
Planned Giveaways
With the release of The Vale this month I’m planning on giving away two copies. One will be on the live stream, the other will be a patreon only giveaway. There will be the normal Crazy Party stream giveaways as well. The game is dead as shit, but at least for now we’ll keep streaming it. There may be one other giveaway that pops up, but I’m still working on the details for it so can’t share much about it yet.
Schedule & Events for August
This will be a fun month with a wide variety of games. We’ll be dual streaming on twitch for every stream from here on out, but twitch still isn’t a priority. It is nice to give people the option for watching on twitch, as it makes mobile viewing much easier, but the main BSG streams are where we focus our attentions. The amazing patreons give so much support that things like twitch affiliation isn’t something we need to focus on; it’s just there for people to watch on if they so wish.
PGA 2K21 on Sunday, August 1 at 4:30pm eastern
The last time we tried to stream this Everything that could go wrong did, and because of that there will now be a makeup stream. Hannibal and myself will be drinking some drinks, and swinging our swingy things at balls. We’ll be streaming on Twitch, and also on BSG with audio only.
Mortal Kombat KOTH on Friday, August 6 at 7:00pm eastern
The twitch streamer kitanye has been promoting the blind fighting game community. I accidentally fell into one of her streams, and ever since then I’ve been back for almost every one. She holds a king of the hill mini tournament on the first Friday of the month, and it is sponsored by BSG. The pot starts at $40 and people can donate to boost it up more. The first to get the required amount of wins takes home the entire pot. This is a hell of a lot of fun for new and old MK players, and a great place to see the best blind players all competing against one another. Check out kitanye’s Twitch Channel.
Alter Aeon 1 Year After Stream on Saturday, August 7 at 4:30pm eastern
In July of 2020 Hamada talked me and Hannibal into playing Alter Aeon. My one condition was to make it into a stream with Hamada and the two of us. Sadly there was an earthquake right before the stream so Hamada couldn’t make the stream, but we are making it up one year later. We are going to group up with patreons who are high enough level on game, and we are going to go get killed by a dragon. Of course there will be drinking, probably crying, and a little bit of yelling. How far did we make it in one year? Stop by to find out.

Hades Stream on Sunday, August 8 at 4:30pm eastern
This is still one of the best games out there for low vision and totally blind players. I may not have improved at the game in months, but I still have a lot of fun playing it. It is even more fun to have a few drinks and stream it. That’s the plan, see how far I can get and have a couple drinks. This will be a very professional stream with the best game play anyone has ever seen. This stream will both be streamed on twitch, and on BSG with audio only.
Patreon Game Night on Friday, August 13 at 8:00pm eastern
These are the highlight of my month. Not only are the greatest humans on earth signed up to the BSG patreon. They come to game nights and we get fucking crazy. There usually isn’t even alcohol involved outside of changeling’s pink beer. If you are a patreon show up if you aren’t easily offended. If you aren’t a patreon you are missing out on the best BSG experience you can get.

Crazy Party Giveaway Stream on Saturday, August 14 at 4:30pm eastern
Will the game ever get updated? It seems unlikely at this point, but we’ll keep streaming it and giving away stuff for those who beat us. Even if you aren’t a fan of Crazy Party these streams are a lot of fun. It is mostly me and Hannibal chatting for an hour while we also play a game. The topics bounce all over the place, but most importantly it is entertaining. This stream will both be streamed on twitch, and on BSG with audio only.
Top Speed 3 on Sunday, August 15 at 4:30pm eastern
Some people have asked when we are doing another Top Speed stream. Well that day is Sunday the 15th. We’ll be allowing patreons to enter into the races. Info for how to join will be put up on the discord patreon channel. This is an older game, but still a pretty fun racing audio game. This stream will both be streamed on twitch, and on BSG with audio only.
The Vale: Shadow of the Crown on Saturday, August 21 at 4:30pm eastern
This game was being worked on forever, and it will finally be released on the 19th of August. I’ll be grabbing it for a stream and seeing how I like it. There will be a giveaway of the game as well on stream. The logistics of the giveaway haven’t been worked out yet, but it will probably involve the BSG discord or Twitter. I’m not too optimistic with the game, but I’m hoping for the best. This stream will both be streamed on twitch, and on BSG with audio only.
The Vale: Shadow of the Crown Sunday, August 22 at 4:30pm eastern
Because this is a new game, and it isn’t too long I’m hoping to knock it all out in a weekend. So why not play it on Sunday as well. We’ll see how it goes. Just in case I like it we’ll have it again, but if I hate it then it will make everyone else happy at my expense.
Crazy Party Giveaway Stream & Special Guest on Saturday, August 28 at 4:30pm eastern
Blind Boss is another new Twitch streamer who both me and Hannibal find very amusing. She has been streaming stuff like blind drive, sequence storm, and Hades. Since we have a nice drunk CP stream on the schedule I figured it would be fun to have her on and let the BSG folks experience her rand of humor. You can follow her on the twitch here. Book Club on Sunday, August 29 at 4:30pm eastern
We like books, and because of this Hannibal runs a BSG book club for us. This month we are reading and discussing E Day by Nicholas Sansbury Smith.
