the 5th singing competition is coming with a twist
In the past we have allowed people to choose what song me and Hannibal cover, but this time we are adding Sarah into the fun, and throwing her at your mercy. That’s correct, for the 5th singing competition you can directly choose what song the three of us cover together in our triet. There are some fun choices, so read on to see how it all works, and to hopefully put a bid in on what song you’d like us to cover.
The actual submissions for the 5th singing competition won’t open until March 1 at 12:01am, but we can all get into the singing spirit by checking out this list of 10 possible entries. We have made some really fun covers in the past like our cover of We Don’t Talk About Bruno and Waka Waka. This time you get to decide what we all cover together, so read on to find out what the songs are, and how you can choose the song.
Summary Of How It Works
This is going to be done on the honor system, so please do not ruin this for everyone else by placing fake bids.
The format will be like a silent auction, where people can put a bid in on a song, and whatever song has the highest bid at the end will be the song we do a cover of. You can make multiple bids, for example if you bid $10 on song A, but then someone bids $15 on song B, you can then place a bid on song A again but for $20 to outbid the previous bidder; or if you change your mind you can bid $20 on song C.

Detailed Bidding Information
There is a list of 10 songs in random order below, these are the ten songs you can choose from.
Bidding is open as of the publication of this blog post on February 24, 2024 at 6:30pm eastern.
Bidding will stay open for 2 weeks.
The deadline to bid(AKA when bidding will close), is March 9 2024 at 11:59pm eastern time. The highest bidder will have to pay their bid by March 12 at 11:59pm eastern time.
No payment will be accepted until the end of the bidding, a bid is just a promise to pay at the conclusion if you win.
100% of funds raised from this go directly to supporting the cost of the 5th singing competition prizes.
You can bid by pooling money between multiple people, just realize that 1 person has to make the final payment if you win.
Final payment can happen through PayPal, Zel, or Venmo. If you’d like another funding option just contact me through one of the below ways.

Bids can go up in $5 increments. I will be updating this blog post each time someone places a bid to show what the leading song is along with the amount.
If you wish to make a bid on a song just contact me through one of the above means, let me know what song you want, and the amount. You can bump the bid up by more than $5, that is just the minimum amount.
If the leading bidder does not make their payment by the deadline then the second highest bidder will become the winner.
The final winner with the highest bid will be announced on the singing competition stream.
